The new version of AudioBox will come in various flavours (subject to change!):

• AudioBox Baby: a free evaluation of the tempo detection in action
• AudioBox VJ Junior: basic tempo analysis/MIDI output ideal for triggering video
• AudioBox VJ Pro: more advanced features and ephemeral measurements
• AudioBox Musician Junior: basic tempo and frequency analysis
• AudioBox Musician Pro: more advanced tempo and frequency analysis
• AudioBox Studio: all features from the other versions in one quite scary package

Pricing and availability have been not decided as yet.

The last released version is 0.7.0 which can be downloaded from http://www.patchbox.net/∞
As of October 2007 the entire analysis part has been re-written.
Tempo detection is now the most quick and accurate that I have ever seen and works across a greater range of musical styles and genres.
As a precursor to a 1.0.0 release, 0.9.0 will be released for testing before the end of 2007.

AudioBox is a stand-alone real-time audio analysis tool.
